Qatar demanded the end of the occupation of the Zionist regime in the Arab lands.
The Permanent Representative of Qatar to the United Nations demanded an end to the Zionist regime’s occupation of Arab lands, including the occupied Syrian Golan and Lebanese lands.
Alia Al-Thani, Permanent Representative of Qatar to the United Nations, emphasized the necessity of ending the occupation of the Arab lands by the Zionist regime in the regular meeting of the Security Council.
The permanent representative of Qatar said that the Zionist regime’s occupation of Arab lands, including the occupied Syrian Golan and Lebanese lands, must end.
According to “Al-Khalij Online” website, Al-Thani emphasized the need to immediately stop settlement activities, return Palestinian refugees, reclaim the historical rights of Palestinians and establish a Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital.
He added that the best way to achieve this goal is through negotiation between the two sides, and it is better for the international community to facilitate the peace process and resolve all the final solution issues.
The Permanent Representative of Qatar to the United Nations stated that the occupied Quds issue is one of the most important issues of the final solution and warned against any damage to the historical and legal status of Islamic and Christian holy places in this city.
Qatar also warned about the efforts of the Zionist regime to Judaize Jerusalem, divide Al-Aqsa Mosque in time and place, and weaken the religious freedom of Muslims, and stressed that these efforts are invalid according to international law and UN resolutions.
