Putin: The West wants to fight with us until the blood of the last Ukrainian.
The Russian president said the West is seeking to prolong the war until the last Ukrainian is killed, and Moscow welcomes peace talks.
Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Thursday that the West is seeking to prolong the conflict in Ukraine and the war with Russia until the blood of the last Ukrainian is shed.
According to the “Rasha Today” website, Putin mockingly said in the Russian Duma: “The West wants to defeat Russia on the battlefield. Let them try their best.”
The Russian president added: “We have heard many times that the West wants to fight with us until the last Ukrainian is killed.” This is a sad issue for the people of Ukraine, but everything seems to be moving in this direction.”
Praising the government for minimizing the effect of western sanctions against Russia, he said that the western countries failed to divide and create internal conflict in Russia.
Putin also said that the Westerners have always been aggressors during the past decades and they are also the cause of the war in Ukraine. The West’s attempt to impose its totalitarian “world order” and implement the “culture of destroying the right to express existence” against other countries is doomed to failure.
The Russian president emphasized that his country welcomes peace talks, but those who refuse to talk now should understand that it will become more difficult to reach an agreement as time passes.
From February 24, 2022 (5th of March 1400), after recognizing the independence of Luhansk and Donetsk republics from Ukraine, Russia sent troops to this region and announced the beginning of “special military operations in Ukraine”.
Russia has announced its goal of this action to de-Nazify Ukraine, disarm this country, resolve its security concerns and respond to Luhansk and Donetsk’s request for help, and has said that it has no intention of seizing Ukrainian lands.
