Pope Francis, speaking at an event on the population crisis in Rome, told the audience that the declining birth rate shows a lack of hope for the future, while younger generations are affected by a sense of uncertainty and instability.
The leader of the Catholic Church stated: “Difficulty finding a stable job, difficulty keeping a job, very expensive houses, rent and insufficient wages are real problems. “The free market, without the necessary corrective measures, will run wild and create more serious situations and inequalities.”
