Pompeo: The United States is on the brink of decline because of Biden.
The former US Secretary of State said in an interview that the country is declining due to the actions of the US President.
Former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has said that partners and international allies are deeply concerned about the United States’ role in the world, and that the United States will decline because of the actions of current President Joe Biden.
“I think the world is very worried,” he told former US National Security Adviser Robert O’Brien in an interview with Fox News. “I think they have seen the first nine months and are very worried that the United States is leaving the world.”
He referred to the US withdrawal from Afghanistan and the abandonment of US weapons in that country. Pompeo also referred to the Biden administration’s move to return to a comprehensive joint action plan with Iran.
“At its core, what the Biden government has failed to grasp is the bitter reality that there is evil and there is good,” Pompeo said. “If you withdraw from Afghanistan without considering the consequences and interacting with it and ensuring that the situation is good, you will face the decline of the United States.”
“If you do not make it clear that you are an unbreakable ally for Israel, Iran will fire rockets at Hamas in the Gaza Strip and they will fire rockets at Israel,” the former secretary of state said.
Pompeo added: “If you do not understand that American energy is an extremely powerful national security tool, but instead you close it and give the Russians access to the European market and ask the Middle East to build more production capacity, you are the United States. “You are in danger.”
The secretary of state described his remarks as “controversial facts” and added that the Trump administration’s motive was to use US power as a force for good in the world.
