The representative of the Zionist regime in the UN, based on unsubstantiated and baseless accusations, accused Tehran of being involved in the attack on the Israeli ship in the Oman Sea and called for the action of the Security Council against Iran.
Following the accusations of the Zionist authorities against the attack on the Israeli ship in the Oman Sea, “Gilad Ardan”, the representative of the Zionist regime in the UN, called on the Security Council to take action against Iran in this regard.
According to Al-Jazeera, without providing any substantiated documents regarding his involvement in the attack, he said that the Security Council should hold an extraordinary meeting to condemn Iran and take action against it.
Britain, Romania and Liberia have also sent letters to the UN Security Council alleging baseless allegations against Iran, claiming that “Iran most likely used a drone or more in last week’s attack on a ship in the Oman Sea.
The allegations come as Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh strongly questioned reports of frequent security incidents on ships in the Persian Gulf and the Sea of Oman, and warned against creating a false atmosphere for specific political purposes.
Khatibzadeh called on all parties to remain vigilant against the publication of fake news, given the contradictory news about maritime security in the region.
