Sanaa official: Peace today is better than tomorrow.
The Deputy Foreign Minister of the Yemeni National Salvation Government advised the oppressors to take the path of peace, noting that the continuation of the military solution is only in the interest of Sanaa, because the sooner it happens, the better.
“Today’s peace is far better than tomorrow’s,” said Hussein al-Azzi, deputy foreign minister of the Yemeni National Salvation Government.
“We did not start the war and we do not want it,” he added. We do not have unreasonable demands, but we have at least the rightful and just demands, which include ending the siege and ending the war and ending the occupation of our lands, so that lasting peace can be established immediately and the war must end and the principle of good neighborliness must be observed.
“That is why we have always said that peace today is far better than tomorrow,” al-Azi said. If the military solution works, it is in the interest of industry. The events of the last seven years of the war have proved this fact. Future events and battles, with God’s help, will prove this in a clearer and stronger way.
As long as Saudi Arabia does not stop the war against Yemen and end the siege of the Yemeni people and withdraw its occupying forces from Yemen, the consequences of the war inside Saudi Arabia will continue,” Yemeni politician Abdullah Salam al-Hakimi tweeted.
He added: “The social and security consequences have been far beyond the imagination of Saudi Arabia.”
