Palestinian women prisoners join hunger strike campaign.
As the Zionist regime continued to ignore demands to end its atrocities against Palestinian prisoners, several female prisoners of war affiliated with the Islamic Jihad also went on hunger strike.
The three Palestinian women prisoners in the Zionist regime’s Damon prison announced that they had also joined the “empty stomachs” battle and went on a hunger strike, according to the international group Sach News Agency.
According to the Palestinian newspaper Al-Quds, Amina Hamid, a member of the Islamic Jihad, said that the three women prisoners were members of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement “Mani Qadan, Amal Taqatiqa and Shatila Abu Ayadeh” who were protesting against the actions of the Zionist regime. They have gone on a hunger strike against prisoners of war affiliated with the movement to declare that Palestinian women do not leave their brothers alone in any field.
Following the escape of six Palestinian prisoners (several of whom were members of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement) from the Jalbuwa high-security prison on September 6 and the crackdown on the Zionist regime’s security structure, the regime cracked down on Palestinian prisoners, especially jihad prisoners. Has intensified Islam.
250 prisoners affiliated with the Islamic Jihad have been on a hunger strike for about five days in protest of this behavior by Zionist prison guards.
In this regard, “Mohammad Shalh”, a senior member of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad, announced on Sunday (yesterday) that the movement will not leave its captives alone in the face of the Zionist regime’s repressive and oppressive actions that have been going on for forty days.
According to Palestinian media reports, Shalh added that Islamic Jihad defends these prisoners, even at the cost of war or above.
Last week, the “Saraya al-Quds”, the military branch of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement, announced its readiness in this regard.
