Hamas, Islamic Jihad and other Palestinian groups stressed that the resistance operation near Nablus against the Zionists is a natural response to the daily crimes of the occupying regime.
Hebrew-language media reported on Thursday evening that a shooting near the Zionist settlement in its suburbs, between the cities of Nablus and Jenin in the occupied West Bank, killed one Zionist resident and wounded two others.
While the Zionist regime is looking for the perpetrators of this incident, the resistance groups issued several statements describing it as an operation of the resistance forces against the occupiers.
Hamas spokesman Hazem Qasim said in a statement: “We congratulate the heroic operation in Nablus against the occupying army and its killer settlers, which is in line with the Palestinian people’s revolution in all areas of struggle.”
“The operation proved once again that the heroic nation of Palestine in the West Bank will continue its legitimate struggle until it expels the occupying regime from all Palestinian territory and destroys its settlers,” the statement said.
Qasim stated: “The spirit of resistance and its great sacrifice along the cities of the West Bank is the sure guarantee of the victory of our nation and the realization of its goals in liberating the land and returning the displaced.”
The spokesman of Islamic Jihad, Tariq Izz al-Din, in a statement congratulating the resistance operation in the North West Bank, said: “The heroic forces of the resistance of the Palestinian people gave a natural response to the borderless crimes of the occupying forces and the Zionist settlers.”
The statement said: “In the shadow of the terrorism of the occupying forces against the captives of Palestinian men and women, as well as against the children of the Palestinian people everywhere, the resistance can not rest and the decision to respond to the crimes of the occupiers will be implemented in every field.”
At the end of the statement, it is stated: “This operation confirms the strength and dynamism of the resistance, despite all the measures taken by the occupying regime to pursue and arrest its forces, ie the resistance will move forward and will have influence in all areas and arenas.”
