A Palestinian expert said that the construction of the American diplomatic complex in the occupied Jerusalem is only for spying on the people of this city and for the benefit of the Zionist regime.
The Legal Center “Supporting the Arab Minority in Israel” (Adalat) unveiled an American-Israeli plan to build a diplomatic complex affiliated with the Washington Embassy in the occupied city of Quds, which will be built on Palestinian land.
Rasem Obidat, a Palestinian expert on Quds issues, while warning about this plan, emphasized that the mentioned action is a dangerous sign; Because America will use this complex against the Palestinian people.
Obeidat told Palestine News Agency that the plan to build the US diplomatic complex in Jerusalem is a new attempt by the Zionist regime to occupy the land of the residents of Jerusalem as much as possible under the pretext of the Absentee Property Law.
He clarified that the Zionist officials are taking over the citizens’ lands in order to Judaize the occupied Jerusalem. In such a way that this city has become Jewish and the Palestinian people have no place in it.
This Palestinian analyst pointed out that one of the goals of building this complex is to become an information point and the American embassy, after spying, will provide the Zionists with complete information about the Palestinian people, especially the residents of Jerusalem.
At the end, Obeidat said that the US does not take a decision that is in the interest of the nation and the Palestinian issue.
The Legal Center for the Protection of the Arab Minority in Israel announced that it has new evidence about the joint American-Israeli plan for the construction of this complex, which is supposed to be built on the lands belonging to the Palestinians.
The center also announced that a group of the main owners of these lands, including Palestinians living in East Jerusalem and others who also have American citizenship, used the opportunity of Biden’s trip to occupied Palestine and demanded the immediate cancellation of the implementation of this plan.
According to the archives related to the ownership of the above lands, these lands belong to Palestinian refugees and those who emigrated from Palestine, and the Zionist regime illegally confiscated them in 1950, citing the law on the property of absentees.
