Ismail Haniyah says Palestine will not surrender in the war of identity against Israel.
The head of the political bureau of the Hamas movement said Palestine will not surrender to the Zionist regime and will not accept its racist policies.
Ismail Haniyeh, the head of the Hamas political bureau, stressed that he was following the events in the occupied city of Jerusalem and the clashes between the Palestinian people and the Zionist militias.
“All Palestinians must support the people of Jerusalem,” Haniyeh said in a statement. Because the inhabitants of this city are defending the sacred.
Safa News Agency quoted the statement as saying that what is happening in Quds now is an emphasis on Arabism, Islamism, and the Palestinian nature of the city.
“Quds does not surrender to Israel and does not accept its fascist policies … The Quds War is a war of civilization, identity, and existence,” Haniyeh continued.
“The events in Al-Quds are a war of will between an occupied nation and an occupying regime,” he said. “Our nation in Al-Quds is not alone in the war of will and identity.”
“We will defend the land, its sanctuaries, and its people, and its Arab and Islamic identity, which Israel seeks to destroy and end,” the Hamas official stressed.
Haniyeh described Quds as a compass for the liberated Palestinians and the world and said that the Palestinian people would also win this battle.
He concluded by noting that Jerusalem is an integral part of the Occupied Palestinian Territory and that its revolutionary nation is resilient and patient, capable of imposing its will, and able to prevent the Zionist equation from being imposed.
