In a separate letter to the UN Secretary-General, the President of the UN General Assembly and the Chairman of the Security Council, the Palestinian Representative to the United Nations on Tuesday called for immediate action to stop the killing of Palestinians by the Zionist regime.
Riyadh Mansour wrote: “Failure to ensure accountability has led to Israel’s greater courage in violating international law.”
Referring to the martyrdom of four young Palestinians shot by Zionist militants in the city of Jenin, he called on the international community, especially the Security Council, to take immediate action to stop the killing of Palestinian citizens and hold the Zionist regime accountable for these crimes.
In another section, the Palestinian representative to the United Nations called for the demolition of Palestinian homes in East Jerusalem and the Zionist effort to build 2,000 housing units in the West Bank.
Mansour also referred to the recent attacks of the Zionist regime on Gaza and the destruction of the infrastructure of this strip and added: 15 years of siege of Gaza has caused insecurity and increased the suffering of the people.
In the end, he called for immediate action and a fair investigation into the actions of the Zionist regime in the West Bank and the imposition of economic and diplomatic sanctions against the regime.
