Organization of Islamic Cooperation welcomed the anti-Zionist resolution of the United Nations.
Quoting from Al-Youm decision, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation welcomed the adoption of the anti-Zionist resolution in the UN General Assembly by issuing a statement.
According to this report, in this statement, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation also praised the countries that voted positively for this resolution.
It should be noted that the UN General Assembly, with a majority of votes, in a resolution requested the advisory opinion of the International Court of Justice regarding the actions of the Zionist regime.
This resolution was approved with 87 votes in favor and 26 votes against, and 53 countries also abstained.
In this resolution, the UN General Assembly asked the International Court of Justice to announce its advisory opinion on the actions of the Zionist regime to change the demographic structure of the occupied Jerusalem, the racist legislations and plans against the Palestinians, and the impact of the policies and actions of this regime on the legal status of the occupation.
The approval of this resolution takes place one day after the new cabinet of the Zionist regime, headed by Benjamin Netanyahu, announced the expansion of Jewish settlements in Palestinian lands and the Judaization of Jerusalem as the priorities of its plan.
Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of the Zionist regime, reacted to the adoption of the anti-Zionist resolution in the United Nations General Assembly.
According to this report, Benjamin Netanyahu said that the UN resolution will not be binding for this regime.
In response to the anti-Zionist resolution of the United Nations, the Palestinian Authority emphasized that the positive vote of the United Nations to this resolution is a proof of the world’s support for the Palestinian nation and its historical rights.
The self-governing organization announced in a statement that the time has come for the Zionist regime to be held accountable and punished for its crimes against the Palestinian nation, and the world must fulfill its responsibilities in this regard.
