North Korea: The era of American domination of the world is over.
The North Korean Foreign Ministry, backed by Russia in its attack on Ukraine, said the armed conflict in Ukraine was due to US “arbitrariness.”
North Korea on Saturday blamed armed conflict in Ukraine on US “arbitrariness” and accused Washington of seeking “military supremacy” despite Russian security concerns.
According to the Yonhap news agency, the North Korean Foreign Ministry website wrote that the main cause of the Ukraine crisis is the arbitrariness of the United States, which relies solely on unilateral sanctions and pressure, while seeking only global hegemony and military supremacy regardless of legitimate demand. Russia is for its own security.
North Korea’s foreign ministry further accused the United States of adopting double standards and interfering in the internal affairs of others, saying that the days when the United States ruled were over.
China also commented on Russia’s move to recognize the Donetsk and Luhansk republics, saying that escalating tensions was linked to the non-implementation of the Minsk agreements.
“These developments are related to the non-implementation of the Minsk agreement in 2015, which provided a roadmap for the peaceful reunification of the Donbas breakaway regions,” Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi recently said in an interview with US counterpart Anthony Blinken.
“NATO has no reason to call Russia’s military operation in Ukraine an ‘aggression,'” Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said Saturday evening.
Various Western countries, including the United States and Britain, and members of the European Union have imposed heavy sanctions on Moscow following Russia’s military operation in Ukraine. Two months ago, the Russian government submitted its package of security guarantees to the United States and NATO, which included Ukraine’s non-membership in NATO and the withdrawal of coalition forces from Eastern Europe.
