The Yemeni ambassador to Syria said that there would be no concessions on the main issues, saying that the problems of the Yemeni people were the result of the Saudi-American siege and aggression.
Rezwan al-Rahimi, the acting minister of the Yemeni embassy in Syria, praised Oman’s stance and efforts in resolving the Yemeni crisis.
Al-Rahimi told Sputnik that Oman’s efforts to alleviate the humanitarian problems of the Yemeni people are very important and that the Yemeni people will not forget these efforts.
He said that the problems of the Yemeni people are the result of the Saudi-American siege and aggression, noting that there will be no concessions on the main issues.
The Yemeni official noted that the reason for not giving concessions is that these issues are the principled, legitimate, and fixed right of the Yemeni people, and any attempt to link it to military and political issues deprives the Yemeni people of its simplest rights.
Al-Rahimi stressed that any delegation that comes to Yemen should not negotiate on what is the right of the people of this country.
He noted that the delegations should be aware that the aggressor Saudi-American coalition, which was defeated in the war, will not be able to achieve its ambitions through negotiations.
The Yemeni official concluded by stating that Saudi and American officials must stop their aggression and end the oppressive siege of the Yemeni people.
Meanwhile, a delegation from Oman arrived in the Yemeni capital Sanaa this Sunday to review the situation in the country based on the “principle of good neighborliness and common interests”.
