A Yemeni army spokesman explained the details of Operation Nasr Mobin by the People’s Committees and the Yemeni Army in al-Bayda province against al-Qaeda and ISIS terrorists.
In a press conference, Brigadier General Yahya Sari added that during the operation, drone and missile units carried out 66 attacks, 9 of which were with Badr and Sair missiles.
He added that the drone unit carried out 40 offensive operations and 17 reconnaissance operations against the positions of takfiri groups.
Sari stressed that the operation liberated 100 square kilometers in Al-Sumaa and Al-Zaher, killed 350 mercenaries and wounded 560, while the rest fled, and 29 armored vehicles and enemy vehicles were destroyed.
He described the reactivation of ISIL and al-Qaeda as part of a US plot to hand over Yemen to mercenaries and takfiri groups, and said that the United States and the coalition invading Yemen had supported the group with weapons and facilitated the entry of dozens of Takfiris into Yemen.
It was quickly noted that during the operation, enemy fighters carried out 161 airstrikes on the positions of the Yemeni People’s Committees and the Yemeni Army in support of takfiri groups.
He praised the support of the people of Al-Bayda province and its tribes for the Yemeni People’s Committees and the army against ISIL and al-Qaeda.
