A spokesman for the resigned Yemeni government’s fifth military district acknowledged the defeat of the invading coalition forces in Haradh in northwestern Yemen, stating that the forces had left the city.
Rashid Makhout Marouf, a media spokesman for the resigned Yemeni government’s fifth military district, said the invading coalition forces and their allies had left the town of Harz in the northwestern Yemeni province of Hajjah.
He justified the defeat by saying that the withdrawal was under international pressure.
According to Sahafa Al-Jadeeda, observers said that the Saudi coalition forces and their allies had suffered heavy casualties and equipment in the area.
The latest reports indicate that the Sanaa forces have made good progress in recent hours and have been able to take control of many areas that have been under the control of the invading coalition forces since June 2018.
In this regard, on Friday (yesterday), field sources present at the Harz operational front in northwestern Yemen reported heavy casualties from the resigned government mercenaries and the advance of Sanaa forces.
