Netanyahu’s opposition intensifies, Lapid threatened to leave the Knesset.
According to Russia Elium, the approval of the judicial reforms proposed by the Prime Minister of the Zionist regime, Benjamin Netanyahu, in the first reading, has faced a strong reaction from his opposition movements.
Seifi Aufadia, the political reporter of Zionist TV Channel 13, announced that the Future Party led by Yair Lapid plans to ask all Knesset members from the opposition parties to resign.
At the same time, the draft law of Netanyahu’s judicial reforms must be read two more times in the Knesset for final approval, and if approved in the third stage, it will be finally implemented.
If the representatives of Netanyahu’s opposition parties leave the Knesset of the Zionist regime, the approval of this controversial law may come to a dead end.
In this regard, Yair Lapid, while severely criticizing Netanyahu’s supporters in the Knesset, said: “History will judge you because of the damage you have done to Israel’s democracy, economy, and security!” You have torn apart Israel without paying attention to the importance of your activities!
Benny Gantz, one of the leaders of Netanyahu’s opposition in the Knesset, also said after the approval of Netanyahu’s judicial reforms in the first reading: “It is very difficult to turn the wheel of time back to the past!”
It should be noted that last evening, the Zionist Knesset, in a meeting that was accompanied by numerous tensions and verbal conflicts, finally approved the judicial reforms proposed by Netanyahu in the first reading with 63 votes.
47 members of the Zionist Knesset out of all 120 seats opposed this law and 10 members refused to vote. Passing laws in the Knesset requires 60 plus one votes, and Netanyahu’s coalition can pass the laws it wants regardless of the opposition’s vote, considering that it has a majority in the Knesset.
