Netanyahu’s concern about Iran-Saudi relations.
Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of the Zionist regime, in an interview with an American media, called for the continuation of the presence of the United States in the West Asian region, in the midst of numerous signs of Washington’s shift of focus to China.
Netanyahu in an interview with CNBC. He said: “I think not only Israel but most countries in the Middle East support America’s participation in the region and beyond that, a greater commitment in the Middle East.”
He added: “I think it is very important for the United States to be clear about its commitment and involvement in the Middle East.”
In another part of this interview, he expressed concern about the normalization of relations between Iran and Saudi Arabia. Referring to the agreement between Iran and Saudi Arabia to resume relations, Netanyahu said: “I believe that (this agreement) was probably more due to Saudi Arabia’s desire to de-escalate or even stop the long-term war in Yemen.” I think the leadership of Saudi Arabia has no illusions about who their enemies are and who their friends are.”
