Netanyahu’s Cabinet’s Future Becomes Unpredictable.
L: In recent days, the sound of the political crisis in the occupied territories and the breaking of the bones of the cabinet of Benjamin Netanyahu, the new prime minister, can be heard more than ever. Although Netanyahu promised an early resolution of the problems in the vote of confidence meeting, but relying on the prime minister’s seat, he faced increasing and intertwined crises.
Decoding the range and sequence of protests
Looking at the protests of recent weeks, we can understand that the scope of protests has been extended to different cities and the number of protesters is also increasing. “Al-Mayadeen” network recently reported that about 110,000 Zionist settlers gathered in a demonstration against Netanyahu’s cabinet in “Kaplan” street, the center of Tel Aviv.
Some Zionist media reported that “massive demonstrations against Netanyahu’s actions regarding the judicial system were held for the third consecutive Saturday, and more than 50 organizations participated in the demonstrations, including groups of lawyers, technicians, and students.”
The published statistics of the number of participants in the demonstrations show that there were between 110,000 and 150,000 people, and it shows that the wave of opposition is increasing every week, and this is dangerous for Netanyahu’s extremely shaky cabinet. Former Zionist officials have previously said they will hold millions of demonstrations to confront Netanyahu’s cabinet and try to bring more settlers to the streets and force the prime minister to back down from his controversial plans.
Before that, the cities of Tel Aviv, Haifa and West Quds witnessed the big camping of parties opposed to Netanyahu; In Tel Aviv, at least 80,000 people came to the streets to chant against Netanyahu. From the point of view of observers, the sequence of these protests within a few weeks shows that the situation in Tel Aviv is not normal politically and socially, and that Netanyahu’s extremely radical cabinet is moving on the sharp edge of collapse.
