Netanyahu Charged With Corruption In London.
Arnon Milchin, a Jewish businessman, testified against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his wife Sara Netanyahu in one of the corruption cases.
The “Russia Allium” news site quoted the “Jerusalem Post” as saying: During his testimony in London, the capital of England, Milchin said “I don’t remember” when asked if he had given a gift to Netanyahu’s family. When reminded of personal items such as champagne, cigars, and jewelry, the Jewish businessman admits that he gave them to his friend as gifts.
He further revealed that in the course of giving these gifts to Netanyahu, he used symbolic names such as “Uniform” for shirts, “Paper” for cigars, and “Rose” for champagne, and these gifts were requested from him.
He goes on to say: Netanyahu told me that he had obtained legal permission from the government’s judicial advisor to receive these gifts, and he also agreed to receive them, while this was a lie.
The Jewish businessman stated: “I don’t think this issue will lead to an investigation, But I realized that Netanyahu is a liar.”
In another part of this disclosure, Milchin says: Sarah Netanyahu and Benjamin Netanyahu have asked him to help in his interaction with Yedioth Aharonot and Israel Hum newspapers to get positive media coverage of them in these two media.
This meeting, which was held in London and was attended by Sarah Netanyahu, had interesting side effects. According to Zionist media reports, he had “unsettling looks” at Milchin while testifying, and the prosecutor asked him not to look at him anymore. Netanyahu’s lawyer mocked the fact that Sarah could influence the proceedings by looking at him and asked the prosecutor how he was going to see the testimony if he didn’t look!
Since the beginning of his new prime ministership, Netanyahu has been persistently seeking the approval of the judicial reform plan in the occupied territories under internal and external pressures. The opponents have stated that the reason for this effort by him and the hard-line members of his cabinet is to deny the independence of the judicial court, escape from trial and cancel the prosecution of corruption and terrorism cases.
