Syed Hassan Nasrallah: US-blocked media that play important role in solidarity with Palestine.
Syed Hassan Nasrallah, Secretary-General of the Lebanese Hezbollah movement, reviewed the most important developments in Lebanon and the region on Friday evening.
At the beginning of the speech, Nasrallah stressed that the sites and media outlets blocked by the United States play an important role in solidarity with Palestine and take a stand against American domination, sedition, and Takfiris.
He said the US decision to block the sites exposed the false claims of US governments about democracy and freedom of opinion. The blocked websites had not done anything illegal.
The Lebanese Hezbollah secretary-general Syed Hassan Nasrullah described the US move as “American media aggression” against media outlets that are attributed to the culture and axis of the resistance.
The sedition of the United States for the dispute between the army and Hezbollah
Hezbollah’s secretary-general went on to say that the US justification for providing logistical support to the Lebanese army was to confront Hezbollah, adding: “The US statement is aimed at provoking the resistance by casting doubt on strengthening the army.”
“The Lebanese army is the real guarantor of Lebanon’s security, stability, and unity,” he said. “In our culture, the army is an essential part of the golden equation of Lebanese power, the army, the people, and the resistance. The US government is concerned that the Lebanese army is in a real position. “Be serious about confronting Israel.”
Emphasis on forming a Lebanese cabinet as soon as possible
In another part of his speech, Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah addressed the issue of forming a Lebanese cabinet, saying: “Regarding the Lebanese cabinet, some commentators still insist on blaming Iran and Hezbollah for not forming a cabinet. Accusing us of preventing the formation of a cabinet. “It is new, slander, projection, and oppression.”
Hezbollah’s secretary-general continued: “After the explosion of the port [Beirut] and the conditions that the government of Hassan Diab faced, everyone knows that we were against its resignation. “Even after his resignation, we demanded the formation of a cabinet as soon as possible … Everyone inside should work to form a cabinet and get the country out of this crisis.”
“Some people felt that the agreement to have 24 ministers in the government was in danger and that they made the wrong analysis and interpretation and took a position based on that mistake,” he said. “We never thought of tripling the number of government ministries.” We did not plan either. “Someone else proposed, and we did not accept it. The octahedral triple phrase is not correct.24 The minister agreed upon is none other than the last two.”
Emphasizing that the way out of the crisis is to form a powerful cabinet that can make decisions, Nasrallah said: “It is not accurate to say that we are neutral on the issue of the cabinet … We always emphasize that the president is a partner in forming the cabinet. “We may disagree with this and that, but we support the truth.”
In the end, Nasrallah thanked the Iraqi government and officials for their decision to help Lebanon, and thanked the commanders of the Iraqi Hezbollah battalions, who said a few days ago that they would be part of the axis of resistance to support Jerusalem and Al-Quds.
