Nabih Berri: The release of Imam Musa Sadr is a sovereign issue and is now in America’s court.
The Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament emphasized that according to the latest investigations of the responsible committee in the case of Imam Musa Sadr, he and his companions were kidnapped by the Libyan regime.
In his speech on the occasion of the 44th anniversary of the kidnapping of Imam Musa Sadr, “Nabieh Bari”, the Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament, emphasized that according to the latest results of the investigation of the crime investigation committee of the kidnapping of Imam Musa Sadr and his two companions, this crime was committed by the Libyan regime and they were arrested. Others have not left.
Barry said that the issue of the release of Imam Musa Sadr and his two companions is a sovereign issue for the Amal movement, which, of course, does not exempt the Lebanese government from fulfilling its obligations and the Arab League from putting pressure on the Libyan government to find out the facts.
According to the report of al-Manar network, Barry also said that those who are eyeing the emergence of differences between the Amal movement and Hezbollah are living in an illusion.
He also said regarding the case of drawing the sea borders of Lebanon and the Zionist regime: the ball is now in America’s court, we do not want war, but if our sovereignty is threatened, we will defend our rights.
He added that the American negotiator has not come to Beirut since a month ago and we will never wait forever.
He stated that we will defend our border, land, gas and oil as well as the Lebanese soil with all our strength.
