Muslim girls were banned from French schools.
Following the imposition of severe restrictions on the entry of Muslim students wearing abayas into French schools, dozens of female students were not allowed to attend schools in this country for refusing to follow anti-Islamic policies.
Despite the severe restrictions that the French government has set for the type of clothing Muslim students wear in order to get permission to enter the country’s schools, the report of the French Minister of Education shows that about 300 students went to school wearing Islamic abayas on Monday of this week.
“Gabriel Atal”, the Minister of Education of France, had announced that when schools start on September 1 students will not be allowed to attend classes wearing Islamic clothing, which means the abaya.
According to the report of the Russian network “Rashatudi”, however, the Minister of Education of France announced that following the imposition of these restrictions, most of the girls had to go to school in a different outfit and were allowed to enter the classes.
According to this report, 67 female students were banned from entering schools due to their refusal to comply with the restrictions imposed by the French government on Muslim girls’ clothing.
The French government says that school officials and the government have started talks with the families of these students, and if the talks fail, their children will be expelled from the schools.
This is not the first time that France is trying to intensify the pressure on the Muslim community of this European country with its anti-Islamic laws, previously the government of this country had banned the use of headscarves for Muslims. France is one of the European countries that has implemented many measures against Muslims.
There are 45,000 schools in France and 12 million students returned to school on Monday. The radical left wing of the government of “Emmanuel Macron” has accused the French president of trying to compete with the right-wing party of “Marine Le Pen” by banning the abaya.
