Muslim demonstrations in the Netherlands against “burning the Quran”

“Sardar Isik”, a psychologist, read a statement in front of the Swedish embassy and said: “Attacks on the Koran in Denmark, Sweden and the Netherlands are very disturbing to Muslims, and tearing up the Koran with the support of the police is a racist act.”
Issik also criticized the mayor of The Hague for allowing the attack on the Koran, saying: “It bothers us that racists and fascists are allowed to so openly attack the values of more than a million Muslims in the Netherlands.” He said that the demonstrators want the Dutch government to prepare a bill emphasizing the protection of religious peace and ensuring the peaceful coexistence of religious and non-religious groups and individuals.
