Mufti of the Comoros: We do not intend to establish relations with Israel.
The Mufti of the Comoros said that what is being said in some media about the country’s intention to establish diplomatic relations with the Zionist regime is baseless.
Mahmoud al-Habash, advisor to the head of the Palestinian Authority on religious affairs and Islamic relations, spoke with the Mufti of the Comoros Islands, Abu Bakr Abdullah Jaml al-Layl, on Thursday.
Al-Habash, in a telephone call with Jamil al-Layl, informed him of the situation in the city of Jerusalem and the dangers posed by the aggression of the Zionist military, the Palestinian news agency Sama reported.
The Palestinian official said that the Zionists are attacking Al-Aqsa Mosque on a daily basis and that China is taking action with the support of the Zionist regime police.
The Mufti of the Comoros also said that it supports the legitimate right of Palestine to end the occupation and establish an independent state in the capital, Jerusalem.
He called on Arab and Islamic countries to support Quds and Al-Aqsa Mosque by increasing their activities and coordination.
