Moscow: Ukraine has become a black market for western weapons.
During a press conference, the spokesperson of the Russian Foreign Ministry talked about various issues, including increasing sanctions against England, Western military aid to Ukraine, terrorism in Afghanistan, and tensions in the Caucasus.
While announcing the addition of 36 British people to the sanctions list, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Maria Zakharova said today (Thursday) that Ukraine has become a black market for western weapons.
During a press conference at the Russian Foreign Ministry, Zakharova said: “36 British figures have been added to the list of banned entry to Russia, including several ministers, legislators and journalists.”
According to “Sputnik” news agency, he stated that Western weapons and foreign personnel entering Ukraine are Russia’s legal target, and explained: “The entry of Western weapons provided to Ukraine has made this country truly a black market.”
This Russian diplomat also said about the terrorist explosion on Wednesday in front of the Afghan Ministry of Foreign Affairs: “Russia wants Afghanistan to take active steps to eradicate the terrorist threat.”
According to this report, Zakharova further expressed her concern about the negative developments in relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan and Armenia following the recent tensions over the region of “Mountainous Karabagh”.
The “Ryanovsti” network quoted him as saying: “We are certainly concerned about the negative trends in the relations between Baku and Yerevan in recent weeks, the intensification of harsh rhetoric and mutual accusations, which are associated with the increase in tension in the region.” We ask the Azerbaijani and Armenian sides to show goodwill and jointly seek a compromise.
In another part of his speech, the spokesperson of the Russian Foreign Ministry denied the reports about the attack of Russian hackers on the American atomic research laboratories.
Based on this, Zakharova explained that the reality of these attacks on American nuclear laboratories was not mentioned in the Western media and efforts to introduce Russia as the main source of malicious activities were included in the policies of the President Joe Biden’s government.
