The leader of the “Al-Tawhid wa Al-Islah” movement, affiliated with the ruling Moroccan party, called for the country to withdraw from the agreement with the Zionist regime and expel its ambassador from Rabat.
Abdul Rahim Sheikhi Baladeh, head of the Al-Tawhid wa Al-Islah movement affiliated with the ruling Maghreb Justice and Reconciliation Party, stressed at a national festival on Jerusalem the need for the government to withdraw from normalizing relations with the Zionist regime.
On December 10, Morocco and the Zionist regime signed an agreement to normalize diplomatic relations.
In this regard, Sheikhi said that the official institutions of the Maghreb should withdraw from the compromise agreement signed with the Zionist regime.
He stressed that standing by Palestine against the occupying Israeli regime is not only to defend Palestine but also to defend itself against the normalization of relations with this regime.
He stated that by normalizing relations with our countries, Israel is trying to infiltrate our education system and media, distorting knowledge and awareness and making the Zionist narrative a true narrative.
According to the website 21 Arabi, the leader of the Al-Tawhid and Al-Islah movement in the Maghreb said that the occupying Israeli regime will continue to be our enemy hidden behind the garb of peace.
He added that we and the Arab and Islamic ummah, along with countering the normalization of relations with the Zionist regime, must continue to support the Palestinian cause and always support the Palestinian resistance.
Sheikhi said that the Palestinian resistance disrupted the calculations of the normalization of relations with the Zionist regime and revived the Palestinian issue among the Arab nations.
Ahmed Al-Risuni, President of the World Union of Muslim Scholars, also stressed at the festival that the only solution to the Palestinian question is to end the occupation and the destruction of the Zionist regime and to return the Jews to their own countries.
He called on Arab and Islamic countries and nations to support the Palestinian resistance.
