He added: “All the orders and special recommendations of the Arbaeen pilgrimage security plan and activating the intelligence and service efforts by launching a special contact number with the Joint Operations Headquarters for more than two weeks and with the personal presence of Major General Abdul Amir Al-Shammari, Deputy Commander of the Iraqi Joint Operations Headquarters.” He personally oversaw the process of security measures and was implemented with the help of the Security Information Unit and facilitating the activities of the media inside and outside the country.

Al-Abbas Combat Brigade announced the downing of 4 UAVs on the way to Bina Al-Harmain area.
An official statement from the headquarters of the Al-Abbas Combat Brigade stated that at the same time as the Arbaeen pilgrimage, these forces were able to shoot down the four UAVs before they reached the Bina al-Harmain area in Karbala by sending noise.
The statement added that the drones flew over the region without official permission, although there was no evidence that they belonged to terrorists.
Al-Abbas Combat Brigade added that its technical technicians have recently introduced advanced equipment to secure the Bina al-Harmain area.
Medical aid teams also laid the foundation stone for the pilgrims.
The Iraqi Ministry of Health announced the success of the Arbaeen special plan and announced that no dangerous cases were observed.
