Middle East Monitor: Exacerbation of Saudi Tensions Against Lebanon Proves Muslim’s Confusion.
An escalation of tensions against Lebanon following remarks by Lebanese Intelligence Minister George Qardahi proves Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s confusion and the inefficiency of his failed government, a Western website said.
“Why is Bin Salman silent in the face of the constant insults of Western leaders?” The Middle East Monitor reported. “But is it creating tension in Lebanon, which is tired of the many crises?”
The website added, “Why did Muhammad bin Salman not feel insulted when former US President Donald Trump described Saudi Arabia as a dairy cow?”
The website highlighted Lebanon’s suffering from the crisis, saying that the Lebanese people are suffering from power outages and fuel shortages. It seems that all this was not enough, and now we see that George Qardahi’s remarks about the war in Yemen have inadvertently led Lebanon to a new crisis.
In a television interview recorded in August, George Qardahi said that Yemeni Ansarullah was defending itself against attacks by Saudi Arabia and the UAE, and that the aggressors must stop their aggression in Yemen.
The remarks caused a great deal of controversy over the Yemeni war and upset the Saudi-led Arab-American aggression coalition in Yemen.
Saudi Arabia criticized Qardahi’s remarks, while it was Saudi Arabia that launched its military operation against Yemen eight years ago under the name “Operation Decisive Storm” and sank into the quagmire of the Yemeni war.
