Mehdi Al-Mashat: We can target any part of the waters around Yemen.
The head of the Supreme Political Council of Yemen said during the parade of the Yemeni army in Hodeida, contrary to Riyadh’s claim, it is the Saudi coalition that has endangered navigation in the waters around Yemen.
The Chairman of the Supreme Political Council of Yemen said today (Thursday) at the parade of the Navy of the Yemeni Army and People’s Committees in Hodeidah, where new weapons were unveiled, that the Yemeni Navy is capable of targeting any point in the waters around this country.
This highest political official of Yemen went on to say: “The high position that our army has achieved now is one of the fruits of resistance against the enemy’s aggression.”
Emphasizing the need to maintain security and the flow of navigation in the Red Sea, he said that the Yemeni forces are still standing against any danger that threatens the west coast of Yemen.
Mehdi Al-Mashat further said that the Saudi coalition has endangered international shipping with its “barbaric” actions and enjoys causing pain and suffering to the Yemeni people.
The head of the Supreme Political Council of Yemen stated that the army of this country has the ability to attack any point in the waters around Yemen and said: “We have recently developed land and sea weapons and we can target any point on land and sea in Yemen.”
Al-Mashat further warned about the continued seizure of Yemeni ships by the Saudi coalition and said that these actions will destroy the ceasefire.
Addressing the Saudi coalition, he emphasized: “The warships that you have brought near the shores to surround and destroy our country do not even scare our children.”
Hudaydah province witnessed the largest graduation ceremony of the military forces of the National Salvation Government of Yemen today. The ceremony was held in the presence of Mehdi Al-Mashat, the head of the Supreme Political Council of Yemen, who is also the commander-in-chief of the country’s armed forces.
