The free martyrdom of a Palestinian with cancer as a result of the medical negligence of the Zionists
A Palestinian prisoner who was diagnosed with cancer in Israeli prisons and was taken to hospital in critical condition was martyred.

According to Fars News Agency’s International Group, the “Al-Assir” club, which specializes in the affairs of Palestinian prisoners, announced that the free Palestinian “Hussein Masalmeh”, who spent a difficult time in the Zionist regime’s prisons, was martyred in Ramallah’s “Al-Astashari” hospital.
According to Ma’a, Masalmeh contracted cancer in the Zionist prison, and as a result of the regime’s medical negligence, his illness worsened. He has been in the Hadassah Zionist Hospital since his release in February 2021 and was transferred to Ramallah Hospital about a week ago. Al-Assir Club blamed the Zionist regime for the martyrdom of this Palestinian prisoner, adding that the crime of medical negligence was committed against this prisoner, as it is being committed against hundreds of other prisoners.
The Palestinian Authority added that the situation had worsened since last year and that he had been in pain for more than a month, but that the Israeli prison administration had delayed his transfer to the hospital and had pursued a policy of organized medical negligence against him. After a late transfer of the patient to the hospital, it is determined that he has cancer and the disease is in an advanced stage.
Al-Assir Club reported that a number of other Palestinian prisoners had cancerous tumors, especially prisoners with a history of 20 years in prison, and called for the immediate intervention of legal institutions to secure their release.
Masalmeh was arrested in 2002 and sentenced to 20 years in prison and 19 years in prison.
The number of Palestinian prisoners in Israeli prisons is reported to be around 4,500, including 40 women, 170 children, and 380 detainees without charge.
543 prisoners are sentenced to life imprisonment and the number of sick prisoners is 700, 300 of whom have dangerous and chronic diseases.
