Maduro recalled the demonstrations in Venezuela’s right wing and his ouster from power through a soft coup planned by Washington.
“After the defeat of this new coup, I was the victim of an assassination attempt in August 2018, when explosive-laden drones exploded during a speech during a military parade in the Venezuelan capital,” he added.
“The United States and the far-right opposition have not stopped promoting destabilizing measures because they want to prevent the victory of a revolutionary government in Latin America,” Maduro said.
The Venezuelan president recently said in response to US military action against Caracas that Venezuela was mass-producing multi-role drones and single-engine aircraft.
