London’s hostile actions against Tehran by imposing new sanctions.
Continuing the hostile actions and under the pretext of defending human rights, the British Foreign Ministry announced that London, along with the United States, Australia and Canada, has imposed coordinated sanctions against Iranian officials.
The British Foreign Ministry has announced that the country’s sanctions have been imposed on Iran’s senior officials, including the Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance, the mayor of Tehran, and the police spokesman.
British Foreign Secretary James Cleverly, continuing his hostile stance against Tehran, said that “the new sanctions are a clear message that London and its partners will continue to support Iranian women.”
According to the British Foreign Ministry’s statement, Mohammad Mahdi Esmaili, Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance, Mohammad Hashemi, Deputy Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance, Alireza Zakani, Mayor of Tehran, and Saeed Montazerul Mahdi, the spokesman for Faraja, are among the senior officials who have been included in the new sanctions list in London.
The British Ministry of Foreign Affairs also announced, in continuation of the interventionist and hostile actions against Tehran, that Britain has completely sanctioned more than 350 Iranian officials and institutions, including the Attorney General and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.
London’s new sanctions come at a time when Tehran has always warned against interventionist actions against Iran and emphasized that such actions will be met with an appropriate response.
