Israeli sources said Yair Lapid and Benny Gantz could meet the regime’s leaders, as well as the former war minister, attempting to pass a law aimed at removing Netanyahu from power.
The two will meet again in the coming days, including with other leaders of the bloc such as Benny Gatz and Gideon Saar.
Lieberman has meanwhile confirmed his intention to present law at the Knesset that will prohibit anyone with a current indictment – such as Netanyahu – from forming a government.
Such a law would prevent the current prime minister’s participation in any further elections that may be held.
According to Vient News, the Zionist regime reported that after a long period of disconnection, Yair Lapid, the leader of his party Atid, and Bani Gantz, the leader of the Blue and White Party, will probably meet.
The source said the meeting was aimed at examining the possibility of forming a government and ousting Netanyahu. Lapid and Gantz, meanwhile, have long been at loggerheads with each other.
Both sides were members of the Gantz-led Blue and White Coalition in previous elections, but have repeatedly attacked and criticized each other since the election and the collapse of the coalition.
Lieberman’s decision to introduce a bill aimed at limiting the term of the Zionist regime
Avigdor Lieberman, a former Zionist war minister and chairman of the House of Israel party, announced that his party was seeking a bill to limit each prime minister to two terms.
Lieberman stated that Netanyahu had previously approved the bill. He also announced the introduction of another bill that would require the prime minister to resign if he is accused of corruption.
He clarified that the current political crisis of the Zionist regime is the result of Netanyahu remaining in the post of Prime Minister after four defeats in the formation of a stable government.
Cancellation of the Israeli cabinet meeting due to disagreements between Netanyahu and Gantz
Israeli War Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Benny Gantz canceled a weekly cabinet meeting scheduled for Monday.
Gantz stated that the reason for the cancellation of the meeting was Likud’s opposition to the appointment of the permanent Minister of Justice.
Likud also responded to Gantz by saying that he had refused to sign a contract to receive millions of doses of the Corona vaccine for Israelis because of his appointments.
In other news, Ayub Qara, a member of the Zionist Knesset from the Likud party, met with Mansour Abbas, the leader of the Ram party.
Mansour Abbas split from the joint Arab list before the Knesset elections and formed a new party called Ram, which won four seats in the March 23rd elections.
Ayub Qara called on Israeli right-wing parties to remove the Ram account from the joint Arab list.
Mansour Abbas had said after the election that he had no plans to side with either Netanyahu or his opponents.
If the Yemina coalition led by Naftali Bennett joins Likud, then four seats by the Ram party will be enough to bring Netanyahu’s 61 seats to form a new government.
The other news is that the Hebrew news site, quoting Nimrod Al-Woni, commander of the Gaza Brigade in the Israeli army, said that he was thinking of finding a solution to the problem of developing Hamas drones in Gaza, mortars, and attacks by the movement’s elite forces. The Hamas Navy is our biggest challenge today, and it looks like a tunnel.
