The plan to tighten the Zionist regime’s sanctions and fill the gaps in the law prohibiting compromise with the Zionist regime was approved by the deputies in today’s special session of the Kuwait parliament.
The Kuwait National Assembly today (Thursday) approved two bills on the Israeli regime’s unified law on sanctions, including expanding the scope of the ban on interaction with Israel in any form.
The Kuwaiti parliament has put on the agenda a review of the report of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Kuwaiti Parliament on the bill amending parts of the provisions of Law No. 214 of 1964 on the Unified Sanctions Act of Israel and a bill banning interaction or normalization of relations with Israel and its organizations.
The Speaker of the Kuwaiti Parliament read the statement and said: “The Speaker and members of the Kuwaiti Parliament express their solidarity with the struggle of the Palestinian people for their natural right to form an independent Palestinian state in the capital Jerusalem and the recent aggression of the Zionist regime and all its crimes.” In the city of Quds and its neighborhoods and the Gaza Strip and the West Bank and the Occupied Territories are condemned 48.
Marzouq Al-Ghanem added: “Today, the Kuwaiti parliament held a special session to emphasize the popular and official position of Kuwait on its main issue, which is the issue of Palestine.”
He added: “In today’s session of the parliament, the escalation of sanctions and filling the gaps in the law prohibiting relations with the Zionist regime or normalizing relations with it was agreed in principle to convey the new message that the position of the Kuwaiti government and parliament towards Palestine is firm and we Greetings to the Mujahideen and the guards in the Occupied Palestinian Territories.
Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Ahmed Nasser al-Muhammad al-Sabah also said on Thursday that the country’s position on supporting Palestine until the people of this land have achieved their full and legal rights is firm.
