Kremlin: Western involvement in the Ukraine war is increasing.
The spokesman of the Russian Kremlin warned on Saturday that the level of involvement of Western countries in the war in Ukraine is increasing.
In the continuation of his speech, he emphasized that Russia’s special military operations in Ukraine will continue and Moscow will guarantee its interests.
It was yesterday that German Prime Minister Olaf Schultz emphasized that Berlin is determined to support Kyiv whenever necessary.
US Defense Minister Lloyd Austin has announced that Western countries have sent more than 230 tanks and 1,500 armored vehicles to Ukraine. These weapons have been sent to this country to equip 9 Ukrainian armored brigades.
On February 24, 2022 (5th of March 1400), after recognizing the independence of the Luhansk and Donetsk republics from Ukraine, Russia sent troops to this region and announced the beginning of “special military operations in Ukraine”.
Russia has announced its goal of this action to de-Nazify Ukraine, disarm this country, solve its security concerns, and respond to Luhansk and Donetsk’s request for help, and has said that it has no intention of seizing Ukrainian lands.
However, the Ukrainian government has not recognized the independence of Donetsk and Luhansk and has called Russia’s military presence an “aggression and attack on its territorial integrity”. Following the beginning of Russia’s conflict with Ukraine, while condemning Moscow and intensifying economic pressures, Western countries have put all-around political, financial, and weapons support for Kyiv on the agenda.
