Kissinger: Ukraine’s neutralization is the solution to the war.
Henry Kissinger has written in his new book, canceling Ukraine’s candidacy for membership in the NATO alliance and adopting a neutral status by this country will end the conflict with Russia.
Henry Kissinger, Secretary of State and National Security Advisor in the previous US administrations, said in his new book that the neutralization of Ukraine’s situation is the way to end the country’s conflict with Russia.
According to “Foreign Affairs” review of Henry Kissinger’s new book entitled “Leadership: Six Lessons of Global Strategy”, the former US Secretary of State points out: “If Ukraine joins the NATO alliance, the borders of this bloc will be 500 kilometers from Moscow. and this deprives Russia of the strategic depth it has always counted on.”
The former national security adviser of the US government also notes that the solution to the current war in Ukraine is a “neutral Ukraine”.
According to Farin Afers, Kissinger believes that Russia will remain influential for at least a few decades, but due to the vastness of its territory and the lack of defense potential in its geography, Kissinger will be involved in a “persistent sense of insecurity” that has deep roots in its history.
Last August, Kissinger recommended a negotiated end to the war in Ukraine, saying that prolonging the war in the country could lead to an escalation of the conflict.
Last May, this former US foreign minister said that Russia and Ukraine should return to the situation that existed before their war.
Henry Kissinger, in an article in the Spectator magazine in December, called for Russia to negotiate with Ukraine to avoid a wider war.
