Kılıçdaroğlu: I will ban the sale of houses to foreigners in Türkiye.
Erdoğan’s election rival, referring to the problems of Turkish people in buying and renting houses, said: “If I come to power, I will ban the sale of houses to foreigners.”
According to the report of Tasnim International News Agency, Kemal Kilicdaroglu, the leader of the People’s Republic Party and the candidate of the 6-Party Coalition in the Turkish presidential election, pointed out the problems of the people of this country in buying and renting houses and stated: Whatever they want to say, if they come to power I forbid the sale of houses to foreigners. Not even a foreigner can buy a house until the problems of our people in providing housing are solved. Now the properties that my people need for shelter are being sold to foreigners. This shame will end.
Currently, the highest rate of buying houses in Turkey by foreigners is related to Russia, Iran and Iraq.
Klichdaroglu stated that the rent price has increased by 197% in the past year and while the minimum wage is 8500 liras, the average house rent has become 7400 liras, he said: We are also following the social housing plan to help families reach their homes.
He added: “Also, I will escort the refugees to their own country within 2 years, which will balance the prices.” In this way, the rate of home owner households reaches 75% again.
