Khizr Adnan was martyred in prison after 87 days of hunger strike.
“Khidr Adnan”, a Palestinian prisoner, was martyred in Zionist prisons after an 87-day hunger strike.
Citing the Palestine Information Center, the Palestine Prisoners’ Club announced the martyrdom of “Khidr Adnan”, a Palestinian prisoner after an 87-day hunger strike.
By announcing this unfortunate news, the Palestinian Prisoners’ Club accused the Israeli occupying regime of premeditated assassination of Sheikh Khizr Adnan.
Last week, “Khidr Adnan”, a Palestinian prisoner and a senior member of the Islamic Jihad movement, continued his hunger strike for the 81st day in a row, and the Palestinian Prisoners’ Club warned of his deteriorating condition.
According to this report, 44-year-old Khizr Adnan went on a hunger strike in protest against his arbitrary arrest by the occupying forces and despite his deteriorating physical condition.
“Tamer Al-Za’anin”, the media spokesperson of “Mahja Al-Quds” Palestinian Institute, warned in this regard: Khizr Adnan’s physical condition is extremely serious and he is currently refusing to drink water.
It should be mentioned that after Khizr Adnan was immediately admitted to the hospital, the authorities of the occupying regime refused to provide explanations about his health condition to his family.
The Palestinian Prisoners’ Club announced in a statement last Wednesday that the Israeli prosecutor’s office has demanded a 4-year prison sentence against Khizr Adnan. “Qadoreh Faris”, the head of this club, emphasized that the occupying regime, by ignoring Khizr Adnan’s hunger strike and not responding to his request for freedom, is taking steps to kill him.
