Karbala Governorate: Pilgrims from more than 80 countries have participated in Arbaeen this year
The deputy governor of Karbala, pointing out that the number of Arbaeen pilgrims this year is likely to exceed 20 million people, announced that pilgrims from more than 80 countries have come to Iraq.
Aqeel al-Fatlawi, the deputy governor of Karbala, announced today (Tuesday) that more than one and a half million pilgrims enter Karbala every day.

Aqeel al-Fatlawi added: “Karbala province hosts millions of pilgrims; In such a way that at least one and a half million people enter the city. We are ready to continue serving until the last hours of pilgrimage.”
Al-Fatlawi pointed out: “About three million foreign pilgrims have arrived so far. A perfect plan has been prepared to protect the pilgrims as well as serve them.
In the end, he said: “There are foreign pilgrims from more than eighty countries; From Europe, Iran, Afghanistan and Arab countries such as Saudi Arabia and all other countries.”
“Ali Shabar”, the spokesman of Astan Quds Hosseini (AS), on Sunday of this week (September 11), predicted that this year’s Arbaeen ceremony will be the biggest ceremony in the history of Iraq.
