Saudi media reported that Washington and Riyadh signed 18 agreements and memorandums of cooperation in the fields of energy, investment, communications, space and health.
The joint statement of the two countries said: “Saudi Arabia and the United States emphasize that they share the same vision for a region that is connected to the whole world, a region where security, stability and prosperity prevail.”
According to “Reuters” news agency, the American and Saudi governments said about global crises: “We emphasize the importance of resolving international disputes through diplomatic and peaceful means.”
The parties also welcomed the extension of tourist and work visas for another 10 years.
The statement continues: “The United States welcomes Saudi Arabia’s commitment to support the balance of global oil markets in order to achieve sustainable economic growth. Saudi Arabia and the United States agreed to regularly consult on global energy markets in the short and long term.
Washington and Riyadh stated that they will work as strategic partners in the fields of climate and energy, adding: “The United States committed to provide security and military support to Saudi Arabia.”
In this statement, by repeating the illusions of the two countries against the Islamic Republic of Iran, it is claimed: “Saudi Arabia and the United States emphasize the need to stop Iran’s interference in the internal affairs of the countries.” Both sides emphasize the importance of preventing Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons.
Emphasizing the importance of joint cooperation in the field of cyber security, the United States and Saudi Arabia said: “We welcome the bilateral cooperation agreement in the field of communication technologies. The two sides emphasize the importance of free trade through international sea routes.
