Joe Biden’s latest gaffe – confusing Ukrainians with Iranians.
The President of the United States made a mistake in his first annual address to Congress, addressing the people of Ukraine as the people of Iran.
US President Joe Biden, who has been ridiculed by the media for making a number of blunders in his remarks, made another blunder in his first State of the Union address to Congress, misleading the Ukrainian people into the Iranian people.
According to the Russian news agency Tass, the President of the United States of America mistakenly addressed the Ukrainians as Iranians in his country’s Congress last night (Tuesday local time and this morning Wednesday Tehran time).
“[Russian President Vladimir Putin] may besiege Kiev with tanks, but he can never capture the hearts and souls of the Iranian people,” he said.
In his first speech to the US Congress, US President Joe Biden sharply criticized Russia’s special military operation, saying that Russian President Vladimir Putin had ordered a military operation in Ukraine. “He made a serious miscalculation and is trying to shake the foundations of the free world.”
“Throughout history, we have learned the lesson that when dictators pay for their aggression, they cause more chaos,” Biden indirectly called Putin a dictator.
“Putin’s war was premeditated and unwarranted because the Russian president rejected diplomatic efforts and thought that the West and NATO would not respond,” he said.
“Putin has started violence and chaos, but at the same time as he is making gains on the battlefield, he will pay a high price in the long run,” he said.
“[Putin] thought he could enter Ukraine and get the world out of it, but instead he faced a wall of power he could not have imagined,” the president said, claiming that Putin was isolated.
