The Nikkei newspaper wrote that the Japanese army only had enough ammunition reserves for about a month, and less than 10% of it was stored in the islands of Kyushu and Okinawa. The military is facing the problem of a lack of ships to transport ammunition to the war zone in the event of a war between Taiwan and China.
