An Israeli general implicitly referred to Hamas’ power and said, “If we can not stop the Hamas’ rocket shower, what will we do if we fight Hezbollah?”
“If we can’t stop the rocket fire for 11 days, then what are we going to do in a multi-front war with Hezbollah,” said Israeli Reserve General Ishaq Brick in an interview.
“They have the ability to overthrow the [Zionist] government, as well as the Shiite militias who may join them, and then there will be a real destruction and we will never,” he told RFE / RL. “We will not be able to cope.”
Ishaq Brick stressed that the Zionist army could only take the lead in the wars through its air force, but that in the past two weeks the only thing the regime’s fighters had done was destroy Gaza and be unable to stop Hamas’ firepower.
“In any large-scale war, Israel’s internal front will become the center of the conflict,” he added. “Millions of people will be under the fire of precision-guided missiles as well as suicide drones for a long time, and no one will be able to live here at that time, and no one will accept the commanders’ claims that they have defeated Hamas.”
The senior Zionist army commander also said that the regime’s prime minister and war minister usually speak of an unforgettable response to Hamas and Islamic Jihad, but that Hamas and jihad are not only a threat but also part of a large-scale conflict in and around Jerusalem lands as considered in 1948.
“Now think about what will happen if Hezbollah enters the war and then thousands of its troops are stationed at the border to cross it, while the missiles are fired at the same time,” Ishaq Brick stressed.
“I say this because, without collective awareness, nothing will change,” he told residents of the occupied territories. People need to know the truth. “You may be scared and say that I do not want to hear these things, but suddenly you may have lost your home and your loved ones were killed, and this is naturally not something you want to hear.”
