Israeli attack on the outskirts of Damascus; 4 Syrian soldiers were killed.
The official Syrian news agency reported that the Zionist regime attacked the outskirts of Damascus this morning, killing four Syrian soldiers.
The Syrian army’s air defenses this morning (Wednesday, April 27) succeeded in repelling the Israeli missile attack on the outskirts of Damascus and destroying most of the missiles fired.
At around 12:41 a.m. today, the Israeli enemy fired rockets at some areas on the outskirts of Damascus, the official Syrian News Agency (SANA) reported.
A well-informed Syrian military source added that the Syrian army’s air defenses intercepted and destroyed most of the hostile missiles fired, but after carefully examining the damage caused by the attack, it was found that in addition to the financial damage, four Syrian soldiers were killed. They lost their lives and three others were injured.
The Syrian government has repeatedly stated that the Zionist regime and its regional and western allies support the takfiri terrorist groups that are fighting against the Syrian government. The Syrian army has repeatedly discovered Israeli-made weapons and ammunition from terrorist groups based in Syria.
Zionist fighters periodically launch missile strikes on targets in eastern and northwestern Syria, using Lebanese airspace or through the occupied Golan Heights. The UN peacekeeping force based in Lebanon has repeatedly reported that the Zionist regime violates UN resolutions on a daily basis and violates Lebanese airspace.
