Israel is hiding behind the walls and the domination of America has come to an end.
According to al-Mayadeen, Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah, Secretary General of Hezbollah in Lebanon, gave a speech on the occasion of the 23rd anniversary of the Eid of resistance and liberation of southern Lebanon from the occupation of the Zionist regime on May 25, 2000.
We appreciate Iran and Syria, who have been and are supporting the resistance
Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah said in this speech: The Eid of resistance and liberation is a great occasion that reminds of the great victory that was achieved on this day in Lebanon. I appreciate and thank all those who participated in the realization of this victory and made sacrifices, especially the martyrs, the wounded, the prisoners, the freedmen and the Mujahidin and their families.
I also appreciate those who persevered and the social basis of resistance in all regions, especially in the south and the Bekaa region. I thank the Lebanese army and security forces, the Syrian army and all the Palestinian groups and the presidents of Lebanon in different periods and all those who supported our resistance. We appreciate Iran and Syria who supported the resistance and continue to support the resistance and all jihadi commanders.
The battle with the enemy is not over
He added: “Anyone who thinks that the battle with the enemy is over is delusional, while part of our land is still occupied by the Zionist regime.” It is necessary to commemorate and revive the anniversary of the Eid of Resistance, because it was a great experience and test that the sacrifices made in it should be known to all future generations.
The future generations and the Lebanese nation must be reminded that the victory of the resistance was not achieved for free and is the result of long years of sacrifice. There are parties who want to diminish the value of this victory and we must prevent this.
There is no such thing as a strong and great Israel
Secretary General of Hezbollah added: The current developments of the Zionist regime, which was thought to be strong and in control of the situation, are the result of long-term struggle and sacrifices. After the withdrawal of the occupying regime from Lebanon in 2000 and the withdrawal from Gaza, there is no such thing as a strong or great Israel. Israel is now hiding behind walls and fire and cannot impose its terms and conditions on the Palestinian nation in any negotiation.
