Zionist radio reported that Jordan, Greece and Cyprus had agreed to Israel’s request to help contain the fires in the Jerusalem Mountains. Similar requests have been made by France, Italy and Croatia.
Channel 7 of the Zionist regime also announced: The special fire crews of “Ben Gorin” airport have also joined the firefighting units to extinguish the fire that is burning for the third day in the mountains of occupied Jerusalem.
Yedioth Ahronoth also reported: “The massive fire in the Quds Mountains has not been contained yet, and efforts are underway to contain the fire, and foreign assistance is expected in this regard.”
The media reported: So far, thousands of settlers have been evacuated from the towns of “Tsova”, “Gafat Ba’rim”, “Ein Nekuba” and “Ein Rafa.
Hebrew-language sources reported that the fire continued in the mountains around Jerusalem after a few days.
Zionist Channel 12 television stressed that firefighting teams had not yet been able to contain the blaze, and that a large area of forest around Jerusalem had been the prey of the fire.
Ita Blumenthal, an Israeli analyst on the Kahn network, also stressed that the Israeli air force is set to join the firefighting team following the continuing fires.
Firefighters said the blaze was likely to continue for several days.
