Islamic Jihad: Imprisonment of resistance leaders strengthens the Palestinian revolutionary spirit.
In response to the arrest of several senior members of the movement in the West Bank, Islamic Jihad stressed that the arrest of the resistance leaders strengthens the revolutionary spirit of the Palestinian people to fight the occupying regime.
The Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement on Sunday condemned the re-attack by Israeli forces on West Bank cities and the arrest of a number of Palestinian citizens and freedmen, including Saeed Nakhla, Riyadh Abu Safiyah, and Sheikh Nazir, a senior Islamic Jihad official.
According to Palestine Al-Youm, the spokesman of the Islamic Jihad, Tariq Izz al-Din, said: “The wave of arrests that has never stopped for the children of our nation and the Mujahideen will not succeed in breaking the will and determination of our nation and can not extinguish their fiery intifada.” And prevent them from trying to regain their legitimate rights and expel the occupying regime from our lands and sanctuaries.
Izz al-Din said: “Trying to remove the leaders of our nation and their Mujahideen from the West Bank scene will never affect the continuation of the path of individuals of the nation to reclaim their rights, and they will continue to do their duty;” Because the arrest of the senior leaders of the resistance movements revives the spirit of the revolution, and they are a model in the path of jihad and resistance.
He added: “All the efforts of the occupying regime and its terrorism against the will of our Mujahideen brothers, Saeed Nakhleh, Riyadh Abu Sufiya and like Nasar, will fail.”
He called on all the patient Palestinian people in the West Bank and Jerusalem to continue the path of conflict and confrontation to defend their land and rights with all possible means to stop the crimes of the occupying regime and end its hostility.
