Islamic Jihad: Curbing the resistance in the West Bank is nothing more than an illusion.
Ahmed al-Mdalal, one of the leaders of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement, emphasized in a conversation with al-Masirah that: As long as the occupation by the Zionist regime continues, the jihad and struggle will continue, and this is the will of the Palestinian martyrs, especially the two today’s martyrs, “Mohammed Al-Saadi.” and “Naeem al-Zubaidi”.
He added: “The Zionist enemy thinks that the resistance will end when one of our commanders is assassinated, but they are living in an illusion, because with the martyrdom of the Palestinians, the flames of revenge will flare up more than before.”
Referring to the funeral ceremony of the Palestinian martyrs that was held today in Jenin, Al-Mdalal added: “With every act of assassination of the resistance fighters by the Zionist regime, we see that the people are united around the resistance and support it more.”
He added: The West Bank and Quds are at the center of the Palestinian national project, and considering the importance of the West Bank region, the Zionist regime is trying to silence the resistance in this region, but of course they will fail in achieving this goal.
It should be noted that this Thursday morning, at the same time as the Zionist forces attacked the Jenin camp (north of the West Bank), the resistance fighters entered into an armed conflict with them. Following these fierce clashes, “Mohammed Ayman Al-Saadi” (26 years old), one of the commanders of the Jenin battalion, and “Naeem Jamal Zubeidi” (27 years old), one of the members of this battalion, were martyred. According to Palestinian sources, in the last 72 hours only, the Zionist regime has martyred 9 Palestinians.
