The ISIS terrorist group claimed responsibility for yesterday’s bombings in Kabul that killed two people.
Two bomb blasts rocked western Kabul yesterday, killing two people and wounding four others, according to the Taliban Interior Ministry.
A Taliban spokesman, Saeed Khosti, said details of the blast were caused by a landmine and that an investigation had been launched.
The Taliban claimed responsibility for the attacks, but Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid told the Anatolian News Agency that more than 670 ISIS members had been arrested in the past three months.
He added that ISIS was no longer a major threat in Afghanistan.
Mujahid claimed that ISIS was a small group that has now disintegrated in Kabul and Nangarhar.
